How to DPS as affliction warlock (patch 3.3) Priority: – keep life tap buff up – use CoE only if no-one else can provide +13% dmg buff – 1 SB at start of fight to activate ISB buff – haunt (can start to recast when about 3sec remaining) – corruption (after start, this should be easy to keep auto-refreshed – unstable affliction – curse of agony if you’re not using CoE – SB filler untill need to refresh haunt or any dots – when target under 25% hp, use drain soul instead of SB (can’t test this on dummyes) – Always Be Casting – start next cast already before previous finished (sometimes spamming button works best) – use trinket and other possible CD abilities when available, easiest if macroed with other spells – if need to move, try to do it only during gcd’s after instant cast spells (LT, curse, etc) Spec used here: www.wowhead.com Add-On to show timers: ButtonTimers

This is my second guide in my series of warlock PvE guides. The video describes the basics of the heavy Destruction warlock spec. Enjoy . A general macro that will help your DPS is the imp firebolt macro. This ensure your imp will cast as soon as he is able (if you spam your buttons). The 3.3 PvE Demonology Warlock Guide

This is my guide to how to play as an endgame Demonology warlock using the metamorphosis spec. This spec is not the top DPS warlock spec but it gives 10% of your spell power as a buff to the raid. It pops demonic empowerment and any use trinkets you have. Replace ‘Shadow Bolt’ with any spell you want to cast. You can also choose whether or not you want the metamorphosis transformation in it as well. World of Warcraft: Warlock Seduce with Voice Recognition

This is a video of me using a Voice Recognition mod and a Warlock seduction macro to keep a target cc’d while I fight other mobs. With the combination of the mod and macro I dont have to take my focus off of the fight except to see when Seduce is up.

Memorized Fearing

This macro will set your focus to a mob and fear it all in one click. If your focus dies, it will reset the focus and cast fear on the next mob that the macro is used with. If your focus is still alive, it will cast fear on your focus, no matter what your target is. You can force it to reset your focus to your current target by holding down alt while pressing the macro button. If your focus is somehow set to a help target, it will clear the focus and cast fear on your current target (but will not set the focus to that target). This macro will not automatically chain Fear, you must press the macro button for each individual fight.

Dotter – Instance Order 1 / Non-Dispelling PvP

This will cast a different spell in the sequence each time the button is pressed. It will reset when you leave combat or change targets. This has UA last, and allows you to cast 3 of your 4 dots while on the move, and regain health from SL at an early stage. This macro will cast Amplify Curse if you hold down alt.

As you can see, the order of the spells is simple to change, and can be changed to match your personal preference.
